Matthew Mahler is first and foremost an artist in New York City. Over the last 15 years, Mahler has worked in both private and public educational capacities in the Tri-State area. Holding a B.S. in Art Education from Hofstra University, and a Masters of Fine Arts from Queens College, Matt has been helping students of all levels and ages reach their creative goals for well over a decade.
Matt will develop a curriculum that is unique to each student’s needs, as well as share slide presentations of relevant work and concepts. Choose to work with Matthew in his studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, or from the comfort of your own home through in person meetings or on-line sessions. Students will feel confident tackling even the most challenging of projects while Matt works one-on-one, modeling techniques in order to build the confidence necessary for artists of any age to succeed at a higher level.
Matt is an ideal instructor for those who wish to apply to both high school or college art programs as well as for anyone interested in developing a personal artistic project.
